Nominees for 2007 Sports Board/Blog Post of 2007

clipped from nfcsouth.net
Mother Corporate board that is.

Well, I was unusually restless tonite, so I

clipped this post from the mother corporate board to my blogger using this Clipmark add-on that integrates with my blog.  A big time saver. You can even use it with video clips, Facebook and more...post to multiple blogs, e mail etc. Plays nice with my Mozilla Firefox browser.  **tip

Anyway, if you'd like to nominate your own, have at it and have fun.  Panthers, Falcons and Saints fans invited too, even Nascar!  biggrin.gif

The other funny part I guess is that the thread started in August starts out by saying how bad Gruden and the Bucs will suck this year.

2007 Sports Board post of the year

I clipped this from the transsexual, cross dressing corporate board. Not that there is anything wrong with that...but this was really good. Yes, I'm turning lemons into lemonade.

George W. Bush - The Nation of Fear

Well, this you may recall from the 2004 election. It's called propaganda of fear. Unfortunately for the masses, based on lies and manipulated emotions. With Iran in the U.S. administration's cross hairs, expect more of the same, administered with a healthy dose of denial.

Murdoch's Way: Buying pols with book deals!

The halls of Washington and their lobbyists...who's representing you?

According to two former F.C.C. officials, Mr. Murdoch’s chief in-house lobbyist at the time, Preston Padden, confronted Mr. Hundt’s chief of staff at a meeting at a coffee shop near the agency’s headquarters. Mr. Hundt (the F.C.C. chariman at the time) would not be able to “get a job as dog-catcher” if the F.C.C. took away a single News Corporation television license, Mr. Padden warned, they said.

Murdoch Reaches Out for Even More

In the fall of 2003, a piece of Rupert Murdoch’s sprawling media empire was in jeopardy.

Congress was on the verge of limiting any company from owning local television stations that reached more than 35 percent of American homes. Mr. Murdoch’s Fox stations reached nearly 39 percent, meaning he would have to sell some.

A strike force of Mr. Murdoch’s lobbyists joined other media companies in working on the issue. The White House backed the industry, and in a late-night meeting just before Thanksgiving, Congressional leaders agreed to raise the limit — to 39 percent.

One leader of the Congressional movement to limit ownership was Senator Trent Lott, Republican of Mississippi. But in the end, he, too, agreed to the compromise. It turns out he had a business connection to Mr. Murdoch. Months before, HarperCollins, Mr. Murdoch’s publishing house, had signed a $250,000 book deal to publish Mr. Lott’s memoir, “Herding Cats,” records and interviews show.

Patriots Brady and Bridget Moynihan

I posted this here for two reasons. First, because Bridget Moynihan looks great on my blog. The second reason is that this video is courtesy of the same video embed code from You Tube I posted on three different blogs.

http://newsriderboomer.blogspot.com/

http://newriders4.blogspot.com/

So it's a real time saver. I recently got a hold of some instructional videos on how to create videos real cheap. Since I have the resale rights to these, I will be posting this info in the next couple of days.

You can also get the embed code here

Here's Tom Brady and the mother of his love child Bridget Moynihan. Apparently, his release was a little too quick on this play.By the way, his team is still cheating!

Patriots Brady Training Cheating Video Collage

If you click on the menu bar at the bottom of this video you'll notice there are several videos to chose from in this group. This is an improvement in the You Tube available technology that was not available a few short months ago.

One includes one of Tom Brady explaining a few quarterback tricks. If you follow the below link
you'll see what I mean, I hope.

Politics and Policy

Denial and all it's forms is a state of mind and life for many Americans. The present state of affairs at home and abroad, has left Americans without peace or freedom. This is a huge evolving story that demands vigilance and change.
The council on foreign relations (cfr) has an inordinate number of members from the republicans and democrats alike. Ron Paul, and two others are not members, I believe that's it. Dr. Paul is against an interventionist or nation building policy. Translation is to less wars. Period. He's tired of the fiat money thing, knowing his economics . Someone, usually the next generation will pay. I don't think this is fair either. Not to mention the present power grap and trampling of the constitution by the executive branch (bush boys) is become dangerous to the principles of the founding fathers. That means totalitarian rule, too much government controlling people's lives is dangerous on many levels.
The neo (new) conservatives are not really new. The are from the far left of the democratic party. Ron Paul talks about the 'neo cons(convicts?) in a video found on the ron paul 2008 site. The man speaks the truth; he has delivered over 5000 babies. He's more about creating things, because he's been so close to creation at birth

Proof Ron Paul will be president

Physician, Heal Thyself (Not Ron Paul)

Mind/Body Healing

As with any illness or disorder of the body, full healing can only be effected when the emotional and mental components are also addressed. Anger, fear and anxiety are emotions that are typically stored and expressed in the gut. This is clearly evidenced in our language - how often have you heard expressions like, 'his guts were churning with anxiety', or, 'the bile rose in her throat whenever she thought about what he'd done', or, 'her stomach clenched in fear'. In fact, what do people do when faced with extreme violence or fear? They often urinate or defecate uncontrollably.

Any bodywork therapies that utilize somato-emotional release will be very healing to people with IBS. Somato(body)-emotional release is based on the premise that emotional trauma is actually stored in the physical tissues of the body - not just in the mind or soul. When you release the event, or memory, or feeling at this level, the catharsis is particularly effective and healing. Therapies like craniosacral, acupuncture, reiki and other forms of energy healing can all facilitate somato-emotional release. It's best to look for a therapist that specifically lists somato-emotional release as part of their practice. Choose your practitioner the same way you'd choose a counselor, make sure it's someone with legitimate qualifications that you feel comfortable and safe with.

I once went to a craniosacral therapist who specialized in somato-emotional release. We started first with my neck and he began by just holding it as I lay on my back (fully clothed). Then, as I relaxed, he slowly began to rotate my head gently to the left and up a bit. Much to my surprise, I immediately experienced a technicolor memory of being beaten as a child. Even more surprising, I re-experienced the fear and anger I had felt then and tears began streaming down my face. When he sensed the emotion was getting a bit much for me, he gently moved my head back to its former position and the memory, the feelings, and the tears disappeared instantly! I was back to the jolly self I walked in there as. I lay there laughing over how bizarre that was and wiped the tears away. He waited for me to relax again and then moved my head back to the same position and immediately I was back in the memory crying away again. He continued this process until I had worked through the memory and released it. Then he moved on to work with other parts of my body.

A friend of mine would experience visions and feel as though she left her body during certain acupuncture sessions. Another friend re-experienced and released a memory of childhood sexual abuse when the craniosacral therapist began working on her arm. You wouldn't think a sexual abuse memory would be stored in someone's arm, but the memory began with her being forcefully grabbed at the elbow and marched up the stairs, so that's where her body stored it. Another woman I know feels distinctly linked with her inner child whenever her energy healer works on her colon. She cries throughout the session and sometimes for a while afterwards, but for the next few days experiences no symptoms of bowel distress whatsoever. Going beyond the psychological, talk-therapy approach and into the body itself can be a very profound and deeply healing experience. Meditation, in whichever form you prefer, is also beneficial. Different people have different ways of meditating and you don't have to sympathize with Eastern philosophies to be able to meditate. Many people feel a walk through the woods, or along the beach, communing with nature soothes their soul and quiets their mind. If you're a Christian, the next time you're praying, stop talking to God/Jesus and just listen. Spend 15 minutes or so simply being open and let God speak to you. Don't worry if you don't hear/feel/sense anything right away, be persistent and it will come.

The inside of a person often has to be healed before other illnesses can be fixed. Dr. Ron Paul, a respected M.D. is running for President to try and heal the ills of the USA. He is all about healing. His heart and gut is on the right place. I feel it in my 'gut'. Spread the word, he's the only candidate that can save us.

Denial and it's various forms

This article is about the psychological condition. For the film, see Denial (film). For the Georgios Seferis poem, see Denial (poem). For the politics of science/history and public policy, see Denialism. Also see wiktionary:deny.

Denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too painful to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence. The subject may deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimisation) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference). The concept of denial is particularly important to the study of addiction.

The theory of denial was first researched seriously by Anna Freud. She classified denial as a mechanism of the immature mind, because it conflicts with the ability to learn from and cope with reality. Where denial occurs in mature minds, it is most often associated with death, dying and rape. More recent research has significantly expanded the scope and utility of the concept. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross used denial as the first of five stages in the psychology of a dying patient, and the idea has been extended to include the reactions of survivors to news of a death. Thus, when parents are informed of the death of a child, their first reaction is often of the form, "No! You must have the wrong house, you can't mean our child!"

Unlike some other defense mechanisms postulated by psychoanalytic theory (for instance, repression), the general existence of denial is fairly easy to verify, even for non-specialists. On the other hand, denial is one of the most controversial defense mechanisms, since it can be easily used to create unfalsifiable theories: anything the subject says or does that appears to disprove the interpreter's theory is explained, not as evidence that the interpreter's theory is wrong, but as the subject's being "in denial".

A commonly-cited example of spurious denial is the psychologist who insists, against all evidence, that his patient is homosexual: any attempt by the patient to disprove the theory (as by pointing out his strong desire for women) is evidence of denial and thus evidence of the underlying theory. This tension can become serious, especially in areas such as child abuse and recovered memory. Proponents often respond to allegations of false memory by asserting that the subjects are genuine victims who have reverted to denial. Critics reply (some seriously, some less so) that it is the proponents who are in denial about the tenuousness of their theories.

The concept of denial is important in twelve-step programs, where the abandonment or reversal of denial forms the basis of the first, fourth, fifth, eighth and tenth steps. The ability to deny or minimize is an essential part of what enables an addict to continue his or her behavior in the face of evidence that, to an outsider, appears overwhelming. This is cited as one of the reasons that compulsion is seldom effective in treating addiction — the habit of denial remains.

Understanding and avoiding denial is also important in the treatment of various diseases. The American Heart Association cites denial as a principal reason that treatment of a heart attack is delayed. Because the symptoms are so varied, and often have other potential explanations, the opportunity exists for the patient to deny the emergency, often with fatal consequences. It is common for patients to delay mammograms or other tests because of a fear of cancer, even though this is clearly maladaptive. It is the responsibility of the care team, and of the nursing staff in particular, to train at-risk patients to avoid such behavior.

Types of Denial

Denial of fact: This form of denial is where someone avoids a fact by lying। This lying can take the form of an outright falsehood (commission), leaving out certain details in order to tailor a story (omission), or by falsely agreeing to something (assent, also referred to as "yesing" behavior). Someone who is in denial of fact is typically using lies in order to avoid facts that they think may be potentially painful to themselves or others.

See Wikipedia for more information on various other forms of denial.

For the purpose of this blog, that will suffice for now. 'Denial' involves lying to oneself, as well as 'misleading' others, many times through propaganda in the media and politics. Transference, another form of 'denial' is also used in such forms. You will and must see that these have a dangerous affect on our survival in these present times. I WILL show how in general A STATE OF DENIAL exist among the citizens of U.S.A. and the world in general today. Clarity will be the result, if one has willingness.
